i sometimes switch over to bows if i can't find good pistols my level, but the -25% attack speed make it difficult to set up a deathgazer railgun combo it's not reliable though, and mobility/decoys/invisibility are what really keep me alive. So far, i rely on passive dodge to avoid 43% of all damage. ![]() i use evasion/duskshroud to keep my distance, and a turret to deal chip damage if a boss forces me to keep running. the +5% attack speed of pistols greatly reduce gazer railgun charge-up time, and the +25% crit damage makes it hit hard (with the right +crit chance/damage mods) i then use invisibility/decoys to draw attention away from myself, while i set up for deathgazer railgun. ![]() Phantom blades has a mod that lets it root enemies, which i use to plink away to gain rage. currently building to white arrow for hungry stalactite (+damage per pierce) currently level 26, and i've reached duskglaive for the invisibility/decoys when dodging. Has dual-wielding pistols become useful? your post inspired me to experiment with a dual-pistol build that has a 30-70 ratio toughness-ferocity. ![]() My save's items say 'These items are old, and may be unbalanced', lol.
